Callister explains two-year break for race
The man with political responsibility for the TT says the time is right to rest the TT Zero race from the schedule.
The Department for Enterprise announced the clean emissions event will not be run for the next two years.
In the meantime, talks will take place with teams and other parties to see if entries and the types of machine can be boosted, and a new race format agreed.
Rob Callister MHK says the failure to increase numbers on the startline is a factor:
Mountain Road closed due to crash near Guthries
Bus services 'at risk' of not operating on TT Race Day 2
Superbike race to kickstart TT 2026 race week
Island values migrants who moved here 'in good faith'
