Conor Keenan nominated for position
A secondary school teacher has been nominated for election to the Legislative Council.
Conor Keenan, who teaches at Ramsey Grammar School, is the seventh candidate to be put forward for a LegCo seat.
He was nominated by Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse who says he has the skills to become a ‘valuable asset’.
Mr Keenan, who was seconded by Onchan MHK Rob Callister, is also president of the National Education Union.
The election will take place on 23 November.
