Prisoners allegedly heard shouting: "I've been swilled"
A teenager has appeared in court after being accused of throwing a kettle of boiling sugar water over four inmates at the Isle of Man Prison.
Taylor Jake Murphy, who is currently a serving prisoner, has been charged with two offences of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and two of common assault.
The 18-year-old allegedly attacked the other prisoners as they were having dinner on 13 December.
An application for bail was refused and he was remanded until his next appearance on 11 February.
