Denies drugs charge
A senior businessman charged with a drugs offence will stand trial in December.
Danny Bakhshi, who is accused of being unlawfully concerned in the production of a Class B substance, appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse earlier this afternoon (Tuesday).
The 50 year-old was arrested after a quantity of cannabis worth around £200 arrived in the Isle of Man from Amsterdam in August.
Mr Bakhshi, formerly of Port St Mary, is chief financial officer at Manx Telecom and has been bailed.
His trial will be held on December the 12th.
