Police warn of icy roads
Police are drawing attention to an amber weather warning issued by the Met Office, predicting icy patches on the roads tonight (Wed 29th).
The Met Office says due to clear skies, temperatures could fall below zero, leading to ice forming where road surfaces remain damp.
Higher routes above 800feet are most at risk, with well-sheltered low-lying spots also in danger.
The warning is in place from 6 o'clock this evening until 10am tomorrow.
