Enterprise minister reveals data from annual audit in House of Keys
The Island's temporary camping facilities operate at around 80% occupancy during the TT, according to the enterprise minister.
Laurence Skelly was responding to queries on non-serviced accommodation from Ayre and Michael MHK Tim Baker.
He was asking about the department's policy as the chair of the planning committee.
Mr Baker had concerns about fairness in the market for camping provision, with lots of applications to his committee for short-term licenses around the festival fortnight, on top of the permanent facilities Island-wide.
