The Quo to rock the Villa Marina again

Legendary rockers Status Quo are to play the Isle of Man this summer.

The Quo's date in the Island has just been announced by Bigsmallfish Promotions.

The band, who've been 'rockin' all over the world' since 1967, will appear at the Villa Marina on Wednesday July seventh.

The band's recorded more than 60 chart hits in the UK, had 22 top ten singles and sold more than 118 million records.

Frontmen Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt were awarded the OBE in the New Year's Honours.

Status Quo were last here in 2008 when they performed a sell-out concert during TT - where they received a rapturous welcome from lifelong fans - and made their song 'Living on an Island' one of the show's highlights.

Tickets go on sale at nine o'clock this Saturday morning from the Welcome Centre at the Sea Terminal.
