Event at Sea Terminal ahead of 'Final Stand' TT concert

A special ticket pre-sale event will be taking place at the Sea Terminal on Saturday (14 March) for DC/AC's final ever gig.

The local AC/DC tribute band recently announced it would be bowing out after this year's TT amid health issues.

The last ever live show, dubbed ‘The Final Stand’, will be held at the The Villa Marina Royal Hall on 2 June.

Paul Daugherty, who performs as Angus Young, says they will give it 'everything they can':

The presale event will start at 10am in the Welcome Centre.

DC/AC says: "With the kind permission of The Welcome Centre and Anne Dorling of Costa Coffee, we’ll be bringing our impressive DC/AC logo to be erected in the Sea Terminal foyer, and we’ll have some of our stage props, as well as a couple of surprises on show for photo opportunities.

"The band will be in attendance for the first couple of hours to hopefully have the opportunity to say a huge thank you to all our loyal supporters in person.

"So there’ll be ample time for anyone wanting photos with the lads.  And to mark the occasion, we will have lots of give-aways – including our latest 2026 t-shirts for the early birds.

"DC/AC would like to show our thanks to the Villa booking staff, and everyone at The Welcome Centre and Sea Terminal for their help and support in making this event possible.  Not a big deal in the whole scheme of things, but it means a lot to us."

Tickets will go on general sale online from 10am on Monday (16 March).
