
Chief Minister Tony Brown is to travel to Romania to see the fruits of the Isle of Man’s generosity.
The Island sent three fire engines to the country last year to help the fire service there, and Mr Brown will attend the opening of a new fire station built in the last year to use the donated equipment.
Former deputy chief fire officer for the Island Bruce Kirkham, who has been heavily involved in the project, says the new facility is state of the art:
