This year's Reih Bleeaney Vanannan trophy has been awarded to Dr Brian Stowell.
The prestigious honour, which means 'Manannan's Choice of the Year', is given by The Manx Heritage Foundation to a person or group who has made an outstanding contribution to Manx culture.
Dr Stowell (pictured) is considered one of the main people behind the revival of the Manx language and is a regular on Manx Radio.
The presentation was made by Chairman of the foundation, Anne Craine MHK, at lunchtime.
