King of comedy Sir Norman Wisdom will take his final journey through Douglas today as mourners gather for his funeral.
Sir Norman, who died earlier this month, will pass along Douglas Promenade to St George’s Church for a service which is expected to attract hundreds of people wishing to pay their respects.
Police are advising people to plan their journeys carefully this lunchtime as the horsedrawn hearse sets out at 1.35 from Onchan.
