797 people without a job
Unemployment on the Island has fallen for a sixth consecutive month after the record high seen in April of this year.
Figures for October show 797 people are now without a job, 88 fewer than in September, but still more than double the total for the same month last year.
It means the unemployment rate now stands at 1.9%.
Sectors with the highest number of vacancies include health services, catering and retail, and more than half of those positions require no qualifications.
