Police confirm death as tributes paid to Stuart Baggs
Police have confirmed the man found dead in an apartment in Douglas this morning (30 July) was entrepreneur and TV star Stuart Baggs.
His body was discovered in a property on Central Promenade at 9am.
The death is described as 'sudden and unexpected' but officers say there is nothing to indicate suspicious circumstances.
Tributes have been paid to 27-year old Mr Baggs on social media while organisers of a Motofest event he sponsored at TT 2014 have expressed sadness at the news.
Mr Baggs, who grew up in the Isle of Man and was educated at Ramsey Grammar School, came to prominence in The Apprentice TV show five years ago.
He has since built a telecoms business BlueWave Communications, which this week launched a new 4G home broadband product on the Island.
At the launch event, before local media and Island businesses, Mr Baggs, managing director of BlueWave, expressed optimism about the future of the enterprise.
