Some members of Tynwald are being called 'lazy' after approving sweeping changes to public sector pensions.
At the April sitting on Tuesday, the court voted 24-6 to streamline pensions for 7,000 public servants, which will see a new unified scheme replace the 15 separate ones currently in operation.
Angela Moffatt of Prospect acknowledges changes are needed, but is not impressed with the reasoning put forward by some members for making the decision:
Assisted Dying Bill mover 'aware of danger of Bill timing out'

MHK behind Assisted Dying Bill 'disappointed' by UK decision
