A trade union says it will oppose compulsory redundancies at the Royal Bank of Scotland International.
It's thought the company could shed around 20 jobs in the Isle of Man, as part of a restructuring process which will see 90 posts lost in offshore operations here and in Jersey, Guernsey and Gibraltar.
Stuart Davies of the Amicus section of the union Unite says the job losses are a dramatic blow for the economies of the four jurisdictions.
He says people are paying the price for poor management decisions:
Two sailings cancelled, more in doubt
Isle Listen's 'Castle to Castle' challenge postponed
Major consultation on health and safety regulations to close at the end of this month
