The balance of entertainment put on in the Isle of Man is just about right, according to political member of the Department of Tourism and Leisure Geoff Corkish, MHK.
His comments come as the Gaiety Theatre was left without a planned summer show this month, after the company involved was told it wouldn't be possible to run for two consecutive weeks.
Mr Corkish says it was an unfortunate situation, but not something which happens very often.
On Talking Heads today he said the Island had two great venues which were very often filled, although he accepted what was on might not always be to everyone's taste:
Main route through Foxdale closed due to RTC
Michelle Mone-linked PPE firm liquidated and unlikely to repay £148m
Yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping
