318,000 visitors last year
2023 marked a significant milestone for the Island's tourism sector with visitor numbers surging above pre-pandemic levels.
The Island welcomed 318,000 visitors during the period, who spent around £183.2 million exceeding the targets by 14,000 and £21.8 million respectively.
The news has been welcomed by Visit Isle of Man Chief Executive Officer, Deborah Heather, who attributes much of the rise to the 'strategic noise' campaign implemented by the organisation throughout the year:
