The Manannan is scheduled leave Douglas at 2pm, with the return journey due to leave Liverpool at 6pm.
Today's Ben-my-Chree sailings to and from Heysham are unaffected.
But tomorrow morning's Manannan crossing to Liverpool may be subject to disruption or cancellation.
