Trees down and flooding reported
The weather caused problems around the Island last night (Fri)
A car was severely damaged on Lezayre Road near to Glen Tramman when a tree came down on it, completely blocking the road. No injuries were reported but traffic was diverted for a time.
There were also reports of a tree down by the Liverpool Arms on the main road in Baldrine, blocking part of the carriageway, and another on the Switchback road.
Police were called to two traffic accidents, one by the Eairy Dam in Foxdale and another on the Mountain Road where the fence was damaged.
Meanwhile, flooding was reported in the area of Hibernia, near to the junction of Hibernia Maughold Road.
There are no problems reported on the roads this morning.
