Manx Utilities chair gives update in HoK
It's hoped work will start on Peel's new wastewater plant early next month (April).
The long-awaited facility will stop untreated sewage being pumped into the sea.
Work was delayed after an appeal against the plans was lodged, although that was ultimately dismissed.
Manx Utilities Chair John Wannenburgh MHK has been giving an update to the House of Keys.
He says it won't be long before work on the site can start:
