Facility being built on former Ward 5 site
Work gets underway this morning (Mon 7th) on a new Oncology unit at Noble's Hospital.
The facility will provide therapy areas, several single patient rooms, a new outpatient's suite and a front door opening directly onto a new parking area.
The development is taking place at the site of the former Ward 5 and it's hoped the new unit will be ready for use this summer.
Health Minister David Ashford says the much needed facility has been in planning for some time.
