Douglas kept their faint promotion hopes alive with a 29-15 win over Sefton at Port-e-Chee in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Two.
Douglas scored all their points in an open first half with two tries from skipper Ryan Maddox, plus tries from Liam Murphy, Callum Carine and Andy Evans.
Mike Hebden added two conversions.
Sefton battled back in the second half but were unable to overturn Douglas’ first half tally.
Douglas now pull a further three points clear of local rivals Vagabonds who they meet next week.
