'The Grenade' is expected to have pro licence confirmed this month
Jade Burden believes becoming the Island's first ever professional female boxer will be 'massive' for her and the sport on Island.
'The Grenade' is expected to have her pro licence confirmed later this month ahead of preparations for the 2024 campaign.
As part of the plans, she'll train out of the same gym as fellow Manx competitor Jamie Devine who also represented the Isle of Man at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
Burden thinks it's an exciting time right now for any aspiring women and girls to get into boxing:
Rugby: Manx club's passionate plea for new players
Football: Castletown beat southern rivals to go top of Division 2
Rugby: Douglas continue strong run at Birkenhead Park
Hockey: Valkyrs B move to the top of Mixed Division One
