Manxman defeats Asyer Aluman in Australia

Manx boxer Sam Rennie has been crowned WBC Australasia Silver Super Featherweight Champion.

The Island fighter - now based in Sydney - secured the title with a victory over Asyer Aluman at Metro City in Northbridge last night (30 May).

Along with securing title-winning status, it means the former New Horizon Boxing Club member remains undefeated in the professional ranks.

His record now stands at four wins from all four professional bouts.
