Manxman hoping to build on recent WBC title victory

Newly-crowned WBC champion boxer Sam Rennie says he's not ruling out pushing for another belt before the end of 2025.

The Manxman - now based in Australia - won the WBC Australasia Silver Super Featherweight title at the end of last month, defeating Asyer Aluman at Metro City in Northbridge.

Nearly two weeks on from that victory, he's confirmed he's planning to return to the ring in August this year with further details to be confirmed.

Looking further ahead than that and with a taste for success, he's told Manx Radio he might have another championship in his sights in 2025:

Since turning professional in the sport last year, Rennie remains undefeated having won all four of his pro bouts to date.
