Manx Missile powers to victory
Ahead of this weekend's British National Road Championships in Lincolnshire, Mark Cavendish was back home and competing last night.
The Manx Missile took a convincing victory in the Canada Life International 10's Time Trial League at Jurby finishing two minutes and 26 seconds ahead of Matthew Bostock.
His time of 19 minutes 52.177 seconds was about 13 seconds outside the record set in May last year by Peter Kennaugh.
85 cyclists took part in yesterday's event.
After the British Nationals, Cav will be representing his Etixx Quick-Step team at the biggest race of all - the Tour de France.
