Football: IoM women to host Ynys Mon in summer series

Double-header at The Bowl gets underway tonight (17 July)

The Isle of Man women's national football side returns home this weekend for a summer series starting this evening (17 July).

The hosts welcome Ynys Mon to The Bowl in Douglas for two fixtures across today and tomorrow (17-18 July).

First this evening at 7pm, the Isle of Man women's senior side face the visitors before a Manx Under-23 squad takes on Ynys Mon on Saturday at 2.30pm.

Isle of Man women's team manager, Wayne Lisy agrees this is a good chance for his players to bounce back from defeat at the Cherry Godfrey Cup in Guernsey in late June:

Twenty-two players have been selected to represent the Isle of Man in this weekend's series.
