High-flying TT newcomer to try 4.25-mile track
The second fastest newcomer in TT history is set to make his debut at the Southern 100 this year.
Twenty-two-year-old Davey Todd was the fastest newcomer of 2018, and also won the Privateers Championship after a top-ten finish in the Senior race.
Following success earlier this season at the Cookstown 100, Tandragee 100, and North West 200, Todd will now take on the 4.25-mile Billown Course, riding for the Cookstown Burrows Engineering Team.
Team Manager John Burrows thanked the Southern 100 club for the opportunity, and says he looks forward to seeing how the 'distinctly liveried' Suzuki outfit fares at the 63rd meeting of the 'friendly races' next month (9-12 July).
