Last four decided following Tuesday night matchplay
The defending champion has been knocked out of the Grant Thornton Isle of Man Golf Championship.
Peter Glover was defeated 6 and 5 by Richard Gault in the quarter-finals at Mount Murray last night.
In the other matchplay pairings, Tom Harris beat Gary Hunter 2-up, Daryl Callister beat Chris Kneen 5 and 3 and Andrew Challenor beat Paul Lowey 3 and 2.
The semi-finals will be played this evening, at Mount Murray, starting at 5pm.
Tom Harris faces Daryl Callister, and Andrew Challenor faces Richard Gault.
