Douglas and District cause major shock

There was a major shock in JCK Division Two as Douglas and District won 2-1 at Marown.

Paul Craig and Daniel Clague-Stewart were the goal heroes as D& D sealed a memorable victory.

Colby showed their ability to challenge for promotion after defeating Ramsey Youth Centre 3-0 at Glen Road.

Tom Beard, Richard Corke and a Chris McKenna penalty saw off the northerners.

Pulrose won well at lowly Ronaldsway - John Glover, Joey Joyce, Barry English, Aaron Raby and Dave Dentith among their scorers in a 6-0 win.

Braddan returned from Foxdale with maximum points after a 2-1 success at Billy Goat Park.

Craig Lemaire sustained a serious foot injury for the home side and both clubs wish him well.
