FC Isle of Man await tough Stafford Town test

Ravens go into weekend as league's top scorers

FC Isle of Man will face off against a fellow side looking to reach the league play off positions this weekend.

Tomorrow night (6 November) the Ravens welcome Stafford Town to The Bowl stadium.

Going into the contest, the Manx side followed up on their 2-1 win in their emotional first home game last Saturday (30 October) with a 10-2 thrashing of St Martins on Tuesday (2 November).

FC Isle of Man also go into this weekend as the top scorers in the NWCFL Div 1 South, having put away 55 goals in 18 games.

As a result, they currently sit fourth in the table, just inside the play off places.

However, their opposition this weekend, Stafford Town, are one of three teams breathing down the Ravens' necks for those play off positions.

They sit only four points behind the Island team on 27 points so far this campaign.

The visitors also come into this fixture in strong form, having won four of their last six matches, losing two.

Their last outing was a 2-1 win against Abbey Hey, who sit six points ahead of FC IoM.

FC Isle of Man vs Stafford Town will kick-off at The Bowl this Saturday (6 November) at 6.30pm
