The Manx government is responsible for too much money leaving the Manx economy.
That's the belief of one of the candidates who will be contesting the single-seat in Peel in next month's House of Keys general election.
Leslie Hanson says plenty of revenue has been coming into the Isle of Man in the last five or ten years, but large sums have been spent on projects where most of the associated firms have been based elsewhere.
On Talking Heads today (Wednesday), Mr Hanson said the current government didn't understand basic economics (listen to audio file below):
