Manx Rally star Mark Higgins finished sixth at the World Production Car Championship round in Japan.
It was a remarkable performance as he competed with a broken collarbone, an injury he sustained at home shortly before departing for the Far East.
Despite his brave efforts, the result may not be enough to keep his World title hopes alive.
It's believed Mark needed to finish in fifth spot, and he would have done so had it not been for a 50 second time penalty applied on Friday.
