IOM Archery calls on locals to try sport

All ages and abilities welcome to beginner courses

Have you ever had a dream of competing in the Island Games?

Maybe you have but you never made the cut and just didn't know how to get there.

Well, IOM Archery is giving you an opportunity to fly the Manx flag at the next Games.

The sport wants to boost numbers on the Isle of Man and is holding a number of beginner courses to encourage people of all ages and abilities to give it a try.

Rhys Moore is on the Island team and has recently returned from competing in the Commonwealth Archery Championships of Europe along with an 8-strong squad.

He told Rhian Evans about it:

Rhys Moore there, you can find out more information on how to become the next Katniss Everdeen or Robin Hood by getting in touch on the Isle of Man Archery Club.
