Edged out Peter Kirkham in hotly-contested final

John Kennish has been crowned the Isle of Man Snooker Champion for a fifth time.

He regained the title after a hard-fought 6-4 win over Peter Kirkham in what was described as a very entertaining final showdown on Sunday (25 July).

Kennish had breaks of 59, 49, 43, 33 and 32 whilst Kirkham hit an excellent break of 64 in the 7th frame to go one behind at 4-3.
