21-year-old set a new personal best in qualifying
Island swimmer Laura Kinley has missed out on hopes for a medal on the Gold Coast.
She placed eighth in the 100m Breaststroke semi-final a short time ago, recording a time of 1.10.93.
The 21-year-old set a new personal best in qualifying this morning - her first in three years, and her first ever time below 1.10.00 (1.09.71).
The finals take place tomorrow lunchtime.
Laura says she was delighted enough with her performance in the heats:
Ravens on the road at Barnoldswick Town
Rugby: Ramsey at home to face Dukinfield
Football: 'Take Two' for FA Cup first round clashes?
