First medals of this year's games will be decided today
The first competitive action will be getting underway at the Island Games this morning.
The first medals of the games are likely to come in triathlon - a sport where the Isle of Man secured three bronze medals in Guernsey two years ago.
Thousands watched in Orkney as the opening ceremony for this year's games was held yesterday evening.
