The Manx cyclist has won the biggest under-23 road race in Italy - the 180 kilometre GP Capodarco.
He was representing the Great Britian Olympic Academy along with Ben Swift who competed in the Games in China.
The race contained eight climbs, two of which were described as "very steep".
