Manx Beat MCC in Dramatic Finish

The Isle of Man Cricket side enjoyed a dramatic last ball win over the MCC in the annual clash at Tromode on Friday.

Set 233 to win in 50 overs, it looked to be a lost cause when the island slumped to 105 for 7.

However, Alex Stokoe hit form after a dismal season with a sparkling 68 and Gareth Roome smashed 44 not out.

15 year-old Adam Killey faced the final ball of the contest as described by Manx Radio Cricket correspondent Maurice Trace:-
