Manx BSB team preps for Brands

Rouse and Gilbert race for IMR

The Manx-based motorbike racing team competing in its first full British Superbike Championships will be looking to build on promising first round performances at Brands Hatch this weekend (13-15 April).

The Quinnstheprinters.com BMW by IMR team are competing in the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Class.

Riders Chrissy Rouse and Jordan Gilbert sit seventh and eleventh respectively in the overall standings, after three races in testing weather conditions at Donington Park a fortnight ago.

Rouse finished fifth in the first session of free practice, with Gilbert just outside the top ten - TT stars Dan Kneen and Michael Rutter are thirteenth and fourteenth respectively.

Billy McConnell currently leads the season standings, followed by Keith Farmer and Joe Collier.
