Irish duo take top spot during two-day series on Island
Visiting duo, Matthew Boyle and Declan Boyle have been crowned winners of the 2026 Chris Kelly Rally.
One of the late entries into the two-day series on Island, the pairing from Ireland took overall spot this afternoon (3 October) with an overall time of one hour, nine minutes and 59 seconds.
That saw them finish only a few seconds clear of Matthew's brother, Michael who finished second alongside Dermot McCafferty in one hour, nine minutes and 38 seconds.
Rounding out the top three was another visiting combination with Aaron McLoughlin and Darren Curran completing the meeting in one hour, 14 minutes and four seconds.
Speaking to motorsport commentator, Chris Boyde at the finish, brothers, Matthew and Michael were full of praise for each other over how well they pushed each other throughout the two days:
Meanwhile, the first local competitor to complete the event was driver, Martin Jones who finished seventh overall alongside Llion Williams in one hour, 16 minutes and 54 seconds.
