Peel aim to move clear of rivals

Champions sit out second round of fixtures

It may be early in the season but Peel have the chance to move three points clear of Champions St. George's in the Canada Life Premier League this evening.

The westerners welcome newly-promoted Marown to Douglas Road while Geordies are without a fixture.

The other teams looking to make it two wins from two games are St. Mary's at home to Ramsey, Old Boys who face Rushen at Blackberry Lane and Laxey away at Ramsey Youth Centre.

Elsewhere, Ayre go to Corinthians and Union Mills play their first game of the campaign at home to St. John's.

In Division Two there's a big southern derby when leaders Colby visit Castletown.

Douglas Athletic go to Douglas & District, Douglas Royal are away to Onchan but the game will be played at Ballafletcher, Braddan entertain Michael and Foxdale host Gymns.

All matches kick-off at 6.30pm.
