Locals to the fore so far

Entries for the 2019 Colas Post-TT Road Races have only just opened, and they have been dominated by local riders so far.

Onchan’s Nathan Harrison - who as the top newcomer finished 10th in last year’s CuPlus Callow 600cc Race - is once again entered on the Chris Preston/Quayside Tyres Suzuki in the 600cc and 1100cc races.

Douglas riders Frank Stennett and Matt Mylchreest are both 600cc Kawasaki-mounted, with Frank a double entry in the 600cc and 1100cc races, whilst Matt confines himself to the 600cc race.

Kirk Michael’s Michael Brew will also be on a 600cc Kawasaki, again with a double entry in the Supersport and Superbike classes.

The combined Lightweight race for 650cc and 250cc machines sees Lower Foxdale’s
Steven Beale on a 650cc Kawasaki on which he finished 11th in 2018, whilst Ramsey man Stephen Ault rides the 250cc Yamaha he brought home in 10th place overall in the same race last year, when he also finished as the best 250cc rider.
