Vikings A suffered a huge blow to their title hopes as they slipped to a 3-1 defeat to Valkyrs A in the PwC Men's Hockey Premier League.
It's the Douglas side's second successive defeat.
Bacchas A continued their fantastic form as they eased past Ramsey A 6-1 to remain top.
At the other end of the table, bottom side Castletown A secured a vital win against the team directly above them, beating Vikings B 2-0.
