
Former Irish Superbike Champion Derek Sheils is to make his T.T. debut.
The 30 year old Dubliner will compete in the Superbike, Superstock and Senior races for the CD Racing team.
Shiels has raced around the Mountain Course before in 2009 when he finished second in the Manx Grand Prix newcomers race which included a lap at over 112mph in not the greatest of conditions.
Shiels won the Irish Superbike title in 2004 but has concentrated on the roads in recent years.
Highlights include a Superbike win at the Skerries 100 and podiums at Tandragee, Mid Antrim, Bush, Walderstown, Munster and Killalane.
He has lapped around the Dundrod circuit at close to 127mph.
