
Mark Cavendish has won his 21st Tour de France stage.
The Manx Missile showed his trademark power and pace in the final bunch sprint for the line, but also plenty of nous, as he wasn't delivered into position by the Team Sky lead-out train and had to negotiate the final kilometre on his own.
When Cav emerged from the bunch it was former HTC-Highroad team mate Andre Griepel who blocked his path to the line.
Cav managed to do just enough to get ahead of the German, taking the win by just half a wheel length.
Today's 208km stage started and finished in Belgium.
