Manx team have returned home after winning 19 medals in Berlin
The Special Olympics Isle of Man team have been described as 'fabulous ambassadors' for the Island following their successful 2023 World Summer Games campaign.
The Manx squad arrived back in Douglas last night (26 June) after securing four gold medals, three silver medals and 12 bronze medals at the event in Berlin.
Beryl Wooldridge is the National Director of Special Olympics IoM and travelled with the team to Germany.
She says the team is helping raise the status and popularity of the Isle of Man as a whole in other parts of the world:
