Strong first half against Rushen
St. John's beat Rushen under the floodlights at Mullen-e-Cloie last night in the Canada Life Premier League.
A strong first half showing was enough for the home side - goals from Daniel Corkill (two), Andrew Chadwick and Nathan Kelly gave them a 4-1 advantage at half-time.
The final score was 4-2 with the Rushen goals coming from Liam Cowin and Steven Riding.
It was a second win of the season for St. John's who move up to 8th in the table with six points after four games played.
Rushen remain in sixth spot.
On Saturday, St. John's are at home to leaders St. Mary's while Rushen entertain Corinthians at Croit Lowey.
