A newcomer for TT 2011 is spending the weekend driving around the mountain course in a hire car, trying to learn as much as possible.
Twenty-four-year-old Scottish rider Jimmy Storrar began racing in 2004 and has taken part in the National Superstock Championship since 2007.
He competed at Macau last November and finished 7th, one place behind John McGuinness and one ahead of Cameron Donald.
Storrar is delighted with the package he has for his Isle of Man debut:
Rider dies following test session incident at Jurby
Football: Peel aiming to go top of premier league this evening
Squash: Thomas Whiteway retains national title
