Island pro takes three-set win in tournament opener
Isle of Man pro tennis player Billy Harris has progressed to the second round of the cinch Championships at The Queen's Club.
The British number six seed secured a three-set victory over Argentinian Tomas Martin Etcheverry (6-4, 3-6, 6-3), on court two on Tuesday afternoon (18 June), in just under two hours.
The former Albany Lawn Tennis Club, and Castletown Lawn Tennis Club, player is a wildcard entry at this year's event.
He may also be in contention for wildcard qualification at Wimbledon this year with selection decisions expected later this week.
